Continuing on with the old post!

There has been a lot going on lately. Lo siento on my absent postings…. it’s  been a weird fall for me, as I’m sure it has been for you!!!! but we’re pressing through it.

Donald Trump is president of the United States of America.  The first lady speaks broken English, so that’s neat.

It’s November in Colorado and I don’t even need a jacket, which is also chill.  Skiing will no longer be a thing, mountain biking year round here we come! Also dare I say water world trips in the winter???

I’m into it though, it’s great living in the era of Lorde Trump.  No longer do we need to hold doors open for people, we can wear non matching outfits, we can eat whatever we want, do whatever we want, be great with whoever we want!

other 2016 highlights:

So many celebrity deaths, crazy climate news, pokemon go is a major past time of mine, I bought a scooter, I changed jobs 2wice, Sara’s car got fucking stolen, I went to Peru, my sister Megan got married, my ping pong game was straight fuego.

Also, I’m ENGAGED TO BE MARRIED…… gonna get really real here soon.  That’s the best shit of 2016. For real.

SONG OF THE 201666

“Cop vs Phone Girl” – my boyz. 3eb.

I find this song inspiring on a lot of different levels – on the surface it’s a vapid pop song from a washed up/drugged out rock band from San Fransicso. However, when you dive deeper into this song, it speaks candidly about societal issues we’re pressed against involving race, class, social injustice and what we all should be doing as Americans and humans to be kind to each other.  It’s easy to dismiss a lot of issues going on, and I feel like 2016 been so pivotal on a day to day level that it’s important to try to emphasize with others and figure out a civil compromise and understanding about our differences… and above all don’t be dicks to each other and throw peace signs every once and a while.

 -Take it from me, I’m super fucking white.
